This is one of the nicest e-mails I have received and is very inspiring. I thought this is worth sharing and since I do know your e-mail addresses, I decided to make it known to you through the website.

I dreamt that I went to heaven and an angel was taking me around. We walked side by side until we arrived at a large workroom filled with angels. “This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said through prayers are received,” my guide told me. I looked around and saw the angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all around the world.

Then we moved on until we came to another section. “This is the Packing and Delivery Section. Here the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them,” my guide said.

Again, there were many angels working at that station snce many blessings have been requested and are being packed for delivery to Earth.

Finally, at the farthest end of the long corridor, we stopped at the door of a small station. To my surprise, only one angel was seated doing nothing. “This is the Acknowledgement Section,” my angel friend told me.

“Why is it that no work is going on here? I inquired.

The angel seemed embarrassed. “So sad,” she replied. “After the people received the blessings they asked for, very few send back acknowledgements.

“How does one acknowledge God blessings?” I asked.

The angel retorted, “Simple. Just say, ‘thank you, God’.”

“What blessings should they acknowledge? I asked again.

“If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep, you are luckier than 75% of all the people in the world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.

“And if you get this on your computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day.
If you can attend mass without the fear of harassment, arrest or torture, you are envied by and more blessed than 3 billion people worldwide.
If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you are unique to those who are in doubt and in despair.”

“Okay. What now? How can I start?” I said.

“If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special. You are more blessed than over 2 billion people who cannot read this at all.”

Have a nice day! Count your blessings, and pass this along to somebody by using the “Share this” link after the article.
