ORLANDO, Apr 22, 2010 / — The judges are not as acerbic as Simon Cowell though they can compete with Ryan Seacrest’s smile, but the finals for the “Voice of McDonald’s” singing competition is as nerve wracking as that of American Idol.
The top three finalists of this global singing competition – Chenee Capuyan of the Philippines, Jin Hur of South Korea and Jesus Molinares of Peru have spent the last two days rehearsing with vocal coaches, backup singers and a 20-piece band; working with choreographers and meeting with hair, makeup and wardrobe consultants in preparation for Thursday’s grand finale.
They also received advice for launching a music career during the Voice of McDonald’s industry day panel led by internationally renowned music industry professionals, including Grammy Award-winning recording artist Richard Marx, world-famous salsa singer Tito Nieves and Talent Casting Director for Disney Parks Ray DeChiara.
Tune in Thursday at 10a.m. ET for a live webcast of the final competition, when the top three will compete for $25,000, among other prizes: www.mcdonalds.com/voice
