Are you proud to be a Cavintinian? If your answer is in the positive, then please tell us why. I have made a list of the reasons I believe have made me proud to be one. Let us make a list of the things that we can be proud of being a Cavintinian. I have written an article on this topic sometime in the past; I enumerated a few more hereunder. Cavintinians have been showered with many blessings so let us be proud of them. Please add to this list and identify yourself after your statement.
What makes me proud to be a Cavintinian? I am proud of my heritage, I am proud of my culture, I am proud of the schools I went to and I am proud that I grew up in Cavinti, the town of my birth. Of course, Cavinti is not among the best in the world, nor even in Laguna, but we can also say that we are not the worst, although we are not without blemish.
Cavintinians have been showered with many blessings so let us be proud of them.
1. Cavintinians have a strong foundation and appreciation for their family. In Cavinti, the extended family (that includes the grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins) greatly exists. Family reunions have found their way in strengthening family relationships.
2. Cavintinians work hard for the education of their children and value their services in the profession. They are willing to go an extra mile even with hardship just to give their children the education they will need for a decent living.
3. Cavintinians will instantly find a sense of camaraderie when he meets another Cavintinian or a Filipino on a sidewalk or anywhere in another city or town and in a foreign land. The ingenious pride and attitude of us, Cavintinians, is something to look up to.
4. Cavintinians are resilient. They have extraordinary ability to adapt. Kahit saan mang suliok ng daigdig dalhin, mabubuhay ang mga taga Cavinti. (Cavintinians will thrive in whatever part of the world they may be.)
5. Cavintinians’ hospitality is second to none.

Cavintinians converse with “ay” at the end of most sentences. (e.g. Pumunta ka dun ay!) Puntong Cavinti, Truly Cavinti.
Most Cavintinians live a simple life. Dining at McDonald’s or Jollibee could be replaced by simple dinuldulan/pansitan, and outing in Boracay or Puerto Galera is no difference from having picnics in Tipakan or Eco-Park.
