667airplaneCathleya Dionisio Baluga of San Miguel, Manila landed at the Toronto Pearson International Airport on February 4, 2008 to visit her mother, Lorna Linay Dionisio, and her siblings as well, in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada.  She stayed with them for one and a half months.  It was a happy reunion for the Dionisios after several years of separation. Cathleya flew back to the Philippines on March 16, 2008.

Erlinda (Diday) Villanueva Reyes  is back in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada after several months of absence. She made a balikbayan trip to the Philippines sometime in August, 2007 and returned on April 14, 2008. She visited her daughter, Gigi, in Cavinti.

Samuelito F. Castillo,  son of  Samuel and Isabelita Castillo, nee Flores,  formerly of Barangay Bangco, Cavinti and now residing in Pillar Village, Las Pinas City arrived  in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on April 15, 2008. He will stay there for good.  He landed as an immigrant.

Senen Villanueva de la Cruz & Jeanette & Jaimie Lelaine  Monillas Guirret of Barangay Sisilmin, Cavinti made a stop-over  in South San Francisco  to visit Maureen and Celso Ramos and their son, Ramil on April 13, 2008. They came from the Philippines. They stayed with the Ramoses for three days.  On April 18th, they flew to Atlanta, Georgia, their final destination.  Before their balikbayan trip, Jeanette and her family stayed in London where her husband is employed.  They stayed there for a year.

Jeanette and Jaimie Lelaine are  Senen’s grand-daughter and great grand-daughter respectively.

Teodulo and Aurelia Esguerra, nee Javier, returned to Calgary, Alberta, Canada on April 12, 2008. They  enjoyed the comfort of their newly built house on A. Bonifacio Street in Cavinti, where they stayed for more than six months. They also found time to visit their daughter in San Pedro, Laguna.

The following will fly to the Philippines in May, 2008 to visit family, relatives and friends. They will also attend the annual Flores de Mayo in Cavinti. Some others will make side trips to Baguio City, Boracay and other famous tourist destinations in the Philippines.
