The newly inaugurated Cavinti Bridge near the Overflow at Bumbongan River, Ibaba will serve all Cavintinians and visitors who will visit Cavinti. Our million thanks to the immediate past mayor Floro Esguerra who started the project and to Mayor Florcelie L. Esguerra for undertaking its completion.

A native of Cavinti, Lucila C. Oblena spent all her working years as an educator, beginning as a classroom teacher in 1944, then a Guidance Counselor and retired as a school Principal. She is also the founder of CLOTA (Cavinti Laguna Overseas Teachers Association). She is the Editor of Tipakan.com (Cavinti Diaspora).
In fairness to the residents of Brgy. Tibatib, Mr. Rodelo Ansay, the present Brgy. Captain in particular. The idea of having this bridge was conceptualized during his first term in cooperation with the Tibatib barangay council. The project was then endorsed to the municipal government and luckily reaped approval up to the highest government agencies.
I have written my first comment when I read the new article, and to my surprise, the bridge is done. Thank you for the conjugal effort of the present administration. I am so excited to step my foot and take pictures on the bridge. Now we can go back and forth and see our piece of land in Tibatib without fear of crossing the river.
