That Much Awaited Nurses’ Reunion

Juliet de la TorreClass reunions, whether you graduated from high school or from college are always highly anticipated.

What makes a reunion so special, special enough for people to travel from all states of the country and even from other countries of the world just to attend is the fun and enjoyment in that terrific party. Moreover, a reunion brings together old friends that shared a unique and irreplaceable part of their past. It is a time to come together once again, touch each other’s lives, and renew the relationships for the days to come. It is a time to reminisce with classmates, share stories about their youthful adventures, and recall some of the best teachers who enriched their lives during their youth and paved the way for life’s journey.

The much awaited reunion is among the nursing graduates of the University of Santo Tomas, Class 1969. The event was held on September 13-16, 2009 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. One hundred seventy five nurses from different countries were in attendance; the highest number of attendees among the several reunions that the class has ever had. This is the 40th anniversary of their graduation from college. It was a success and a grand September affair to remember.
