flowers02Mrs. Teodosia T. Ramos, nee de la Torre, turned 93 last Sunday. March 22, 2009. Everybody at the birthday party was all smiles with best wishes for many more birthdays. But God has a different plan for her. He called her to His Kingdom on April 1, 2009 at 1:40 in the morning.

Her body lies in state at the All Souls Mortuary:
4400 Cherry Ave.
Long Beach, CA 90807

Plans for her burial are as follows:

The Wake (Viewing) – Sunday, April 5, 2009; 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Funeral- Monday, April 6, 2009
after the nine o’clock mass

Nanay, Lola and/or Grandma to her family, and Ka Dosia or Inang Dosia to relatives, friends or town mates, was a loving and caring grandmother to her grandchildren whom she and her late husband, Pedro Ramos helped rear when they arrived here in the US in the 1970’s. They willingly and diligently answered to the requests of their grandchildren. There was never a favor asked, however big or small it may be, that remained unheeded.

Ka Dosia is survived by her children Zosimo, Conrado, Rolando, Lucy, Reynaldo and Juliet; her daughters-in -law Nory Grifal Ramos, Dr. Renee Ansay Ramos, Neena Diaz Ramos and Marjorie Ramos; her sons-in-law Marlon Haylock and David Brumage and her ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

You will be missed, but you will always be in our prayers and memories!
