Remedios ‘Meding’ Castillo Juanillo 1921 – 2008
We know her as Meding, mother of 7 children and the wife of the late Crispin ‘Peping’ Juanillo. Remedios Castillo Juanillo met her maker last Saturday, April 26, 2008 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was 87 years old.
She is survived by her children, Lucy, Virgilio, Ester, Cecilia, Nida, Jess and Dario and 20 grandchildren. Except for Ester who still lives in the Philippines, all of Meding’s children are in Edmonton to give their final respect to their mother. Jess, who lives in Vienna, Austria was able to see his mother before she passed away.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2, in Edmonton. Church services and interment will be on Saturday, May 3.
