MANILA, Philippines – Families of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are invited to attend a Christmas party on December 16 in Manila.
Susan Ople, head of the Blas F. Ople Policy Center said the celebration, dubbed as “Happy OFW Christmas Event”, will be held at the Philamlife Auditorium along U.N. Avenue from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Mayroon po tayong celebrities, inspiration talks at saka raffle prizes,” Ople said in a phone interview with dzMM.
Ople said OFW families need to register early to reserve seats as the auditorium can only accommodate 700 people.
“Kailangan mag-reserve sila sa amin ng seats. Kunwari, isang pamilya sila at nandito yung kanilang mahal na OFW relative, ipalista lang over the phone para ma-reserve naming yung tickets in their name,” she said.
The Ople Center will start accepting phone registrations on Monday until Friday. Those interested may call 833-5337 or 833-9562 to reserve tickets.
