More on “We Are Proud to be Cavintinians”
Mr. Cesar J. Mesina, on January 24th, commented that Cavintinians are “very willing to help visitors from other towns and even extend accomodations when they need it.” Yes, we, Cavintinians, are hospitable. Truly, the Cavinti hospitality is beyond compare. Visit the home of a kababayan and right there and then you will be treated to a refreshing merienda or to a sumptuous meal. And if you are from a distant place, you will be invited to stay with them where you will find a home away from your own.
During fiestas, whether it be the town or a barangay fiesta, go to a house whose owner you do not know and vice versa; rest assured that you will be eagerly entertained in the celebration.
The Cavintinians are hard-working and industrious as well. Amidst the uncertainties that the global recession brings, our labor force continues to toil, both domestically and abroad, delivering services, building infrastructure and/or engage in any kind of legitimate labor in order to send financial support for their loved ones back home and contribute, at least, to the nation’s progress. These Cavintinians, men and women alike, are working hard, making use of their knowledge and skills for the betterment of their families, the communities they live in, and our beloved nation.
A combination of courage, bravery, patience, perseverance, cooperation, determination, helpfulness and all the aforementioned traits helped build Cavinti. Hence, sa mga kababayan in Cavinti and elsewhere in the world, let us do our best to instill in our youth these distinguished personal qualities of Cavintinians, especially to those who Mr. Cesar Mesina mentioned in his comments. The Filipino Channel (TFC), in addition to the joys and merriment it brings to the Filipino/Cavinti homes everywhere, are instrumental in introducing to these individuals who were born and/or raised outside the territorial jurisdiction of Cavinti/the Philippines these praiseworthy attributes the Cavintinians are endowed with.
Miss Norma Tablico, in behalf of the Cavintians, let me express our prayers for and our wholehearted appreciation for your willingness to retire in our schools as embodied in your comment. Your effective supervision and guidance of the teachers along this specific area of concentration will greatly enhance the development of these praiseworthy character traits among our students. Having been an educator, too, I’ve always had a high regard for teachers. I feel they have the most important job of molding our future generations.
Our numerous characteristics and practices are not without blemish, but aren’t we proud that Cavinti customs and values live elsewhere a Cavintinian resides? MABUHAY!

Thank you very much for detailing the many good traits of the Cavintinians. Hope our younger generations continue with them.
