Christmas is where the heart is. It brings us love, goodwill, peace, joy and promises of better things to come. It is also a season of generosity and giving.
Christmas 2010 is a special celebration for all Cavintinians, whether they are in Cavinti, in other towns and cities of the Philippines, in North America, in Europe, in the Middle East, in other countries of Asia , in Australia or in any other countries in the world because they have brought with them the unique way of celebrating Christmas in Cavinti. We have shown to the whole world that we live a life that gives the true meaning of Christmas.
It is in this spirit and in recognition of the true meaning of Christmas that I ask of you a simple request. Let us open our hearts and reach out to those who are less fortunate than we are, and/or those who through illness, poverty and misfortunes or bad luck, are in need of assistance. Hence, by so doing, they may enjoy blessings now and in the not very distant future.
And tnen, let us look at the incoming year 2011 as a year of challenges and new beginnings. Yet, let us not forget the past events and experiences that we have had. Likewise, let us remember our old friends and acquaintances.
Together, these two facts, are the very foundations that encourage us, give us hope and bring about success.
