Virgilia Casino and grandchildren

CLOTA is honored to feature a fellow CLOTA member, Dr. Virgilia G. Casino. She is Cavinti Schools District Supervisor and CLOTA Special Projects Chairman and Advisory Council Member.

Virgie, as we call her is in town. She is staying with her sister in Virginia Beach, Virginia for a short vacation and pleasure. She will fly back to Manila on June 21, 2009 after a two-month stay in the U.S.

She was married to the late Roberto S. Casino of Luisiana, Laguna. But she considers herself a true Cavintinian because her father-in-law is from Sumucab, a barangay in Cavinti. However, they have established their residence in Los Banos, Laguna. They have had three children, all professionals in their chosen career, and four cute grandchildren who are all girls.

Dr. Virgie Casino has served Cavinti with flying colors for nine years. She has helped several teachers for their promotions. Besides, the school has improved a lot through her efforts. She is a very dedicated, highly spirited and efficient individual. The needs of the school children are her primary concern.

As an old adage says, “Twist of events is part of our life.” Hence, each individual has to undergo trials and challenges. But Dr. Casino was able to surpass all these in her career.

If any CLOTA member intends to visit Cavinti Central School or any other school in the district, and or meet our district supervisor personally, she would be very gracious to welcome anybody and get the time touring you around the school campus.

Now on her tenth year as district supervisor of Cavinti, hopefully, she is enjoying her stay. We thank her very much and we are overwhelmed with joy having her a member of CLOTA. Please continue to do so.

I’ll see you again and good luck for all you undertakings.

GELINE R. LAZARO
President, CLOTA
