Dear Fellow Kababayan:

With a noble and humanitarian purpose, I am writing to all Cavintinians abroad to share with you that a Medical-Dental team from California s going to hold a Medical Mission in our hometown Cavinti on Saturday, April 3, 2010.

I initiated this Medical mission for our beloved town for free and my share of helping our indigent kababayan. I have done several medical missions in different provinces in the Philippines ; the latest were in Cebu and Bohol last February, 2009.

We are exhorting people from Cavinti: physicians, dentists, health and medical workers, non-medical volunteers to join us and rise as one to make this endeavor a reality. We need your presence, medical and dental expertise, financial support and your valuable time.

Our medical mission will be incomplete without giving free medicines to the patient. It is in this regard that I ask for your generous financial support for the purchase of medicines. Any amount you are wiling to give will be greatly appreciated. Kindly make your check payable to me and mail it to my address below. THANK YOU.

Our Parish Council in Cavinti headed by Mr. Albert Valente is coordinating with us in this project. Father Rico de Vera, our parish priest, is offering us the use of the church facilities and to provide food for the volunteers.

It is my fervent hope that you will help us in our humanitarian endeavor to make our kababayan happy and in good health. Join us to heal our less fortunate brethrens. “When you do this to the least of my brethrens, you do it for Me.” (Matthew 25:40)

Sincerely yours,

Sgd. Emma Mesina Mattel, M.D.
