Kristina Fe’s Sweet 16 Party at The O.C. Starz

Kristina Swee 16Sweet 16, a right of passage; a time when you can start driving, that translates to ‘freedom’ to a lot of teenagers. The O.C., acronym for Orange County; it’s not a just a name on the map, it is also a label of cultural identity, that was made famous by movies like ‘Orange County’ and currently the TV show ‘The O.C.’.

Kristina Fe (photo left, in white), daughter of Helen (nee Belleza) and Joey Fe, is Californian by birth, Filipino by national origin and a Cavintinian on her mother side. Demographically speaking, she is a Millennial, defined by demographers as those who were born beginning 1990 and never knew a world without the Internet.

She is also a new generation of Cavintinian; a second-generation diaspora, linked only to our hometown by accident of birth. Still, Kristina, like her sister Kassie (photo left, wearing red) and all the second-generation diaspora are important part of our Cavinti community. After all, they are our future.

As a Sweet 16 celebration present, Helen & Joey Fe, Kristina’s parents reserved the O.C. Club Starz, an All Ages dance club which usually serves ages 14 – 18 playing the Hottest in Top 40 and Hip Hop. Located in Anaheim, it is at the center of Orange County and one of the hottest clubs for teenagers.
