Every body understands what a family is: a social unit living together – parents and children, and sometimes with grandparents affiliated by consanguinity, affinity and/or co-residence.
In every culture worldwide, the family holds a special importance. It is considered a haven, supplying absolute fulfillment to each member. It is a place where warmth, tenderness and understanding can be expected from the loving mother and protection and firm guidance from the strong-willed father.
Family is the highest school of education, the school for teaching almost every thing. It is the training ground for life so that the stronger it is, the stronger the child will be when he/she steps out from the nest to make his/her own way in the world.
Family helps you to believe in yourself and allows you to be yourself. There are so many limitations in the world, but to be home and surrounded by the love that your family has built, lets you know that you can fall back and they will surely help you – if not with a helping hand, then with words of wisdom and a smile.
Shown in photo is the family of Lucille and Randy de la Torre of Surrey, British Columbia in Canada. Lucille is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Celedonio Esguerra of Inao-awan and Randy is the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Vicente de la Torre of Paowin. The children are Kyla, Kenneth and Kaycee. Lucille is a stay-at-home Mom taking care of the children while Randy is the breadwinner. They are working hand in hand for personal and family fulfillment and protection, the two major roles of a family.
