Help for Philippine Hospitals/Schools

Filipinos in Belgium through the auspices of the Council of Filipino Associations in Belgium (COFAB) raised more than six thousand euros with an equivalent of more than P400 000.00 in a fund campaign from two Philippine Independence Day celebrations. The fundraisers intended to send the money to the Philippines to help health centers, hospitals and classrooms.

Dhe Lulu, COFAB president and chairman of the Philippine Independence Day Committee thanked the ambassador and his staff, the members of the different associations, the officers and members of the Independence Day organizing committee as well as the Filipino community  for their help and support to carry out the project. They expect to raise more funds in next year’s celebration.
