A native of Cavinti, Lucila C. Oblena spent all her working years as an educator, beginning as a classroom teacher in 1944, then a Guidance Counselor and retired as a school Principal. She is also the founder of CLOTA (Cavinti Laguna Overseas Teachers Association). She is the Editor of Tipakan.com (Cavinti Diaspora).

It was very nice hearing from you again. Akala ko’y nalimutan mo na ang Tiya. Well, ok naman kami dini. Kaya lang, malamig na.
Mabuti ka pa at uuwi sa PilIpinas. Hindi ko masabi kung kailan ako makakauwi, kasi parang ayaw na akong pauwiin ng aking anak nang ako’y nakasolo. Nag aala-ala at 85 years old na ako. I think I can still go home alone kaparis ng dati, ngunit mabuti na rin ang nag-iingat. And besides, nagkasakit ako last month. Iwas in bed for almost three weeks at I am always dizzy. But I am ok now. Kung may makakasabay ako, she will permit me to go home.
Magpadala ka uli ng articles and pictures ninyo para sa website. Gusto ng mga mambabasa ay mga balita tungkol sa ating bayan at sa mga kababayan.

Hello po ulit Tiya. Just got busy nitong nakaraang mga araw ( heheheh dami) ngeeek months pala. Musta na po ulit. Hope ok lang po kayo dyan. Ok naman po ako dito. Sa Saudi pa rin. Baka po March or April pa ako makauwi sa Pinas at the same time sa Cavinti. I will gather more pictures of our town for my Cavinti Documentaries and lakarin ko na rin iyong book license ko sa National Library.

what’s your opinion for surveys for money online. One of my mates told me that it is real chance to get some bucks only getting surveys for money online. Is it real chance or not. I live in Taiwan which is in Asia. People here are selling the iPhone unlocked and I really want one but I don’t know if I should wait. No one knows when iPhone is coming out in Taiwan or Asia. So should I buy an unlocked iPhone or be patient and wait till it officially comes out?
