Gertrudo L. Mirasol, MD January 9, 1927 – September 13, 2008

Dr. Mirasol, Dr. Tuding or Tuding , those are how town mates,  friends, acquaintances and relatives used to address one of the  most distinguished persons  Cavinti has ever had. A medical doctor by profession with specialization in Thoracic Surgery that he trained at Harvard Medical School, Dr, Mirasol is a generous individual with a magnanimous heart. Most often, he goes out of his way to help others. There was never a time that you cannot approach and/or consult with him. In addition to his profession as a thoracic surgeon, he was also very active in socio-civic, religious and charitable organizations in Cavinti.

Dr. Gertrudo L. Mirasol, 81, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2008. His body lies in state at the Loyola Memorial Park in Guadalupe, Makati City. Viewing will be held on Monday to Thursday. On Friday,  the corpse will be brought to Cavinti, Laguna. Final rites will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008.

Dr. Gertrudo L. Mirasol is survived by his wife, Mrs. Atring Perez Mirasol, daughter Ma.Angelie and her husband Dr. Jimmy Villamin, son Dr. Raphael Geraldito and his wife Jean Bella, the four grandchildren,  sisters Pering and Belen, brothers-in-law Orly Perez, Ernesto Ansay, Pablito Valente, and Ben Rodriguez, sisters-in-law Reny P.Pereja, Nelly P. Arzadon, Lina Elloso, Evelyn A. Perez,  Nester P. Ansay and Ludy P. Valente, nephews and nieces and other relatives.
