A Poem from Norcelita Ansay Ortiz

As I stare from the hallow glare
I Couldn’t spare what I snare
I turn my head to hide in shade
My senses jump along with a spade
As I step on the narrow stairs
My little toes sigh to share
Up high towards the air
Bright sky is on its way

I look at the sky and ask
Where my future lies
Atrocities couldn’t deny
I’m afraid I wont see it before I die

In the rainbow, I see shadow
Make a wish, dream to have come true
I know,
Behind the  glow, is brighter tomorrow
