Blueberry Hill on Trumpet

Music is an art that provides a kind of pleasure human nature cannot live without. It is the universal language of mankind. It expresses feelings and thoughts. When one sings, he scares away his worries and sorrow. Without music, life would be boring and lonesome.

James Pereja, a Cavintinian and a mariner on board the cruise ship “The Princess of Norway,” drives away his longing for his family and his loneliness by playing his favorite tunes and songs on his trumpet. James is the son of Marci and the late Aurelio Pereja of Bagumbayan (Ilaya), Cavinti, Laguna.
