Around California: Bodega Bay On The Rise

There are miles upon miles of public beaches along the Pacific Coast, each offering something unique to those who visit the place. Bodega Bay is just 68 miles north of San Francisco. The area embodies various attractions. The sun, the sea and the sky, among other things are the reasons why every now and then visitors flock to the place, as well as the ocean breeze, the crashing of waves, stunning sunsets and great seafood.

Manolo Ansay, a retired school principal in Cavinti came to Sacramento to visit his son Marlon and his family. Although he has visited the US several times, still he wanted to make the most of his vacation. Hence, on Augustt 15-17, 2008, he, with a group of Cavintinians from the Bay Area went camping at Bodega Bay. Among the group were the Ansay family, the Gadia family, Turing Juanillo, Lourdes’ Mom, Lucy Juanillo, Nida & Virgil Juanillo from Canada, Cecille Juanillo and a friend and Jean Juanillo and her boy friend.
