House blessings or house warmings have been a part of all cultures since the beginning of time. The house blessing speaks of the meaning of family and home and the importance of faith within its walls.

After moving into a new home, most people hold a spiritual  house blessng.  And that is what Mr. & Mrs. Randy de la Torre (nee Lucille Esguerra) of Surrey, British Columbia in Canada did. Being  a first home buyer, the couple wanted the energy in their new home to be fresh and uniquely theirs.

The house blessing was held onSaturay,  August 22, 2009.  Family and friends gathered in the home with the priest, who went from room to room, saying a prayer specific to each room and sprinkling holy water.

Among those present during the affair were Mrs. Aida Pereja Mesina, Mr. & Mrs. Elson Abaquin (nee Zelinda Flores), Mr. & Mrs. Benjie Abas (nee Minda Matibag)  and their  children as well as those of Mr. & Mrs. Avelino Saret.
