On the morning of May 10, 2008 Clarita and Cesar J. Mesina, together with their daughter Catherine, hopped into an airplane and took the two-hour flight from Union City, California to Seattle, Washington to visit their daughter Carisa and her family and to attend the confirmation rite of their grandson Cody Sherrill.
The confirmation of Cody Sherrill took place on May 11th at the Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish, Washington which is a 30-minute drive from Seattle. Catherine stood as godmother. The most Reverend Joseph J. Tyson, Auxiliary Bishop of Seattle presided over the confirmation.
The party dined at a classy restaurant in the suburbs of Seattle. Present during the affair were Cesar, Catherine, Cody Sherrill, Clarita, Mark, Carisa and Patrick Colin. They feasted on the delicious cuisine served at the restaurant. What a happy reunion for the Mesina family.
