Linda, whose real name is Erlinda Villanueva de la Cruz vda. de Medina turned 60 on July 11, 2009. It’s hard to believe, eh? She is still looking good for a 60-year-old!
As people grow older, birthdays tend to lose their appeal. As a matter of fact, many don’t even want the world to acknowledge that they are another year older. But turning 60 is a milestone, hence this birthday celebration is of great significance.
Linda’s birthday celebration was held in Kong Hotel and Restaurant in Olongapo City, Zambales, Philippines. It was a perfect time for family and friends to come together and greet the birthday celebrant.
It was an excellent opportunity for a family reunion. Linda’s mother, Senen Villanueva de la Cruz, who until today is based in Cavinti, although she proportions spending her time among her children who live in San Pedro, Laguna and in Metro Manila, Philippines, and even flying to the United States to stay with her granddaughter with her late daughter, Lilly, who has passed away. Her sisters Josie dC Alhambra, Myrna dC Zarate and Estrella dC Diaz, as well as her uncle Mr. and Mrs. Ven Villanueva of Metro Manila, too, drove to Olongapo City for the celebration.
Joel and Jeanette dC Monillas – Guiret and family who are now based in London flew to the Philippines for the occasion.The power of doing this had been very amazing! Can you imagine what it had done for Linda to see and be with family and friends gathered together to celebrate her natal day!
