Happy birthday, Ellen! May you have more blessings, good health and success today and always!!!” Those were the words that the group of southern California Cavintinians shouted in unison as they approached the residence of Dina and Nestor de Jesus in Baldwin Park on Saturday, March 12, 2011. It was Ellen’s birthday on March 9th, but since it was a working day, the celebration was held last Saturday at Dina’s home.
Dina and Ellen are sisters. They are the daughters of Gen. Ben Divinagracia and the late Fe Mesina Juanillo Divinagracia.
The food served for this special occasion was very appetizing and very delicious. The savory meal consisted of Filipino foods and other meat recipes, salads and vegetables for the health-conscious and a variety of desserts and of course the birthday cake. What a happy celebration that everyone enjoyed!
